Face to face with a white man shark came an experienced surfer in the west Australia. In fact, the shark bit his board.
Specifically, the 61-year-old surfer Andy McDonald was windsurfing with friends on Monday (10.11.2025) at Bombie Point, near Margaret River, when he fell into the water. There was a shark. Then I used my sail to keep myself out of the water and started shouting for help.”

Fortunately for him, a friend who was nearby helped him back to shore. MacDonald was not injured, but his board has a large bite mark.
“I’m fine, I live to tell the tale,” he declared, holding his board. “I don’t think I’ll sleep for a week.”
Although he did not see the shark clearly, he estimated that it was about three meters long.
The authorities of Western Australia issued a warning about the presence of a shark in the area.
