The Minister of Health paid a visit to Psara Adonis Georgiadiswhere he watched the construction progress of the Health Center.
The minister, who was accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Chios of the ND Noti Mitarakissaid that two doctors will be on the island in a few days, a soldier who is serving his term and a farmer.
At the same time, as he mentions, the Health Center is being built from scratch, as well as five residences for the medical staff on the island.

In his post, the Minister of Health writes:
Today together with Notis Mitarakis we visited Psara. There, together with Vassilis Kikilia and the Ministry of Shipping, we sent a floating ambulance, we hired a nurse, an ambulance driver and other staff. We got an army doctor, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, and he accepted the position and will go in 20 days and a rural doctor, so he will have 2 doctors.
At the same time, through TAA, we are carrying out in collaboration with the Municipality one of our biggest projects of €2,200,000. We are building a new Health Center from scratch. And within this, in addition to the many new spaces for the new clinics, we are also building 5 fully equipped residences for our staff.
So in addition to the financial incentives we give, we will also provide a brand new home.
Greece is in debt to Psara and we are repaying some of that debt with a lot of work to provide a better life for the people there.
We will have an official opening in the summer.
