Lazaridis for Samaras: We didn’t hear any proposal, he decided again to turn obsessively against ND and Kyriakos Mitsotakis

“I have served New Democracy for over forty years, without ever leaving it”

The Maximos Palace did not proceed with a commentof the interview of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on ANT1 but the deputy of Kavala and parliamentary representative of New Democracy Makarios Lazaridis in his post he characterizes him as “obsessed with the ND and Kyriakos Mitsotakis” and without a plan.

Specifically, his post stated:

“The same well-worn arguments, in the same familiar and tiresome way, Antonis Samaras chose to re-emphasize in his television interview with ANT1TV. Unfortunately, he again decided to obsessively and unjustifiably turn against New Democracy and Kyriakos Mitsotakis, even reaching personal attacks towards him.

Unfortunately, we have heard no new ideas, no visions, no proposals for how the country can move forward.

The only political force that has a plan, stability and the ability to provide solutions to the real problems of the Greeks is New Democracy, under the leadership of Kyriakos Mitsotakis. As for Mr. Samaras’ allusion to me, with the designation “vizier”, I want to make it clear: I have served New Democracy for over forty years, without ever leaving it. And I still firmly believe that the position of a former prime minister who successfully served the country is within our great liberal and democratic family, not opposite, but on the side of Kyriakos Mitsotakis”.
