The week starting today, Monday, November 10, will start with an unsettled one Cairo according to EMYsince heavy rains and storms will occur again in many areas of the country as well as in Attica and Thessaloniki.
According to the EMY weather forecast, heavy rains and storms will occur in central-eastern Macedonia, from the afternoon in Thrace, until noon in the Ionian, western Sterea and Epirus and until late afternoon in the western Peloponnese.
In the rest of the country there will be a few clouds temporarily increased with local rain, while isolated storms will occur from midday in places in the eastern island country.
Winds will be south southeast 4 to 6 and in the Ionian temporarily up to 7 Beaufort, turning from the afternoon to west to west northwest 3 to 5 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change significantly, since it will reach 18 to 20 degrees in the north, 22 to 24 degrees in the rest of the regions and 25 degrees Celsius in Crete.
The weather in Attica and Thessaloniki
Attica
Weather: Clouds with local rains that will gradually intensify and mainly in the mid-afternoon hours there will also be sporadic storms.
Winds: From south directions 4 to 6 turning in the evening to west directions up to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 15 to 23 degrees Celsius.
Thessaloniki
Weather: Cloudy with rain and sporadic thunderstorms, which will be strong at times.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 20 degrees Celsius.
The weather in the rest of the country
Macedonia – Thrace
Weather: Cloudy with local rains and sporadic storms, which in central-eastern Macedonia and from the afternoon in Thrace will be strong in places.
Winds: From south directions 3 to 5 and gradually in the sea-coastal sections up to 6 Beaufort. From late afternoon and from the west they will turn to northeasterlies up to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 20 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 4 to 5 degrees lower.
Ionian Islands – Epirus – Western Mainland – Western Peloponnese
Weather: Clouds with local rains and sporadic storms, which will be strong in places until noon in the Ionian, Epirus and western Mainland and until late afternoon in the western Peloponnese.
Winds: From south directions 4 to 6 and in the Ionian temporary local 7 gradually turning from the afternoon to west northwest 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 15 to 21 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 4 to 5 degrees lower.
Thessaly – Eastern Sterea – Evia – Eastern Peloponnese
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with local rains and sporadic storms mainly in the southern parts.
Winds: From south directions 3 to 5 and in the east and south local 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 23 to 24 degrees Celsius.
Cyclades – Crete
Weather: Partly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms from midday to the west.
Winds: From south directions 3 to 5 and in the west local 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 24 and in Crete 25 degrees Celsius.
Eastern Aegean Islands – Dodecanese
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased with local rains after noon mainly on the islands of the Eastern Aegean, where sporadic storms will occur at night.
Winds: Southerly 3 to 5 and northerly local 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 24 degrees Celsius.
