The young man in love decided to propose on his knees at the 10km finish line of the 42nd Authentic Athens Marathon, with Turkish marathoner Nur Eygun – who had just finished after 48 minutes of racing – initially stunned.
Then, as can be seen in the video, she smiles broadly and says the long-awaited “yes”.
