West Bank: Israeli soldiers kill two Palestinian teenagers – ‘Molotov cocktails were thrown at us’, IDF says

Can the truce in Gaza between the Israel and Hamas “hanging by a thread” but this does not mean that tensions have fallen in West Bankin which there are still incidents with Israeli forces and Palestinian residents.

The situation escalated when two Palestinian teenagers threw Molotov cocktails at Israeli security forces in the village of Judeira in the occupied West Bank, prompting the IDF to return fire.

The two Palestinians, Mohammed Atim and Mohammed Qasim, both 16 years old, they fell dead from Israeli fire as revealed by the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Health, adding that the Israeli army collected their bodies.

Yesterday Thursday (06.11.2025), in the evening “two terrorists were identified as lighting and throwing molotov cocktails towards a main road of urban fabric” in Zudeira, north of Jerusalem, according to the army.

The military unit deployed to the area “neutralized” the individuals, the army added, using the designation it regularly uses for victims of Israeli operations.

THE the army released relevant video from closed-circuit surveillance camerasshowing two people throwing a burning object over a wall that looks like the one that separates the area near Zudeira from a road used by Israelis.

Bloody clashes continue

Although located in the West Bank, which has been under Israeli occupation since 1967, Zudeira is surrounded by roads and land that has effectively been annexed by Israel.

In another incident, on Wednesday night (05.11.2025), the Israeli army shot and killed a 15-year-old teenager in the occupied West Bank, whom the army described as a “terrorist”, claiming that the youth threw an explosive device at soldiers.

Violence in the occupied West Bank has escalated since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip, triggered by Hamas’s attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023.

Since then, the Israeli military and Israeli settlers have killed at least 1,001 Palestinians in the West Bank, including many militants, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

At least 43 Israelis, civilians and soldiers, have been killed there in Palestinian attacks or during Israeli military operations, according to official Israeli figures.
