After the sunshine and high temperatures on Friday (7/11/25) a very autumnal weekend begins, with forecasters predicting rainy Cairo with thunderstorms in many areas.
For Saturday (8/11/25) local fogs are predicted in the morning and in the evening, but also clouds – denser in the west – with rain and storms, which will later extend to Thessaly and Central Macedonia. Until the afternoon, the weather will be strong in Epirus, the Ionian, the Western Continent and the northwestern Peloponnese.
In Attica, temporarily increased cloudiness is expected, with light local rains.
Thessaloniki will also experience rain, with the weather improving from the afternoon.
The weather will be in the same pattern on Sunday, especially in Western Greece, while the wind will reach up to 7 Beaufort in the Ionian.
The phenomena are expected to weaken from Tuesday (11/11/25).

In the Ionian Islands, Epirus, western Sterea and northwestern Peloponnese, rain and sporadic storms are forecast in some places strong until the afternoon.
Initially in Ionia, Epirus, western Sterea, western Peloponnese, gradually in central Macedonia and from the evening hours in eastern Macedonia and Thrace, increased clouds with rain and sporadic storms are predicted. The effects will be locally strong until the afternoon in the Ionian Islands, Epirus, western Sterea and northwestern Peloponnese.
In the rest of the mainland, the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese, clouds are forecast temporarily increased with local rains.
In the Cyclades and Crete, sparse clouds in places and denser at intervals with the possibility of local rain from midday in the western Cyclades.
Visibility in the morning and evening hours, mainly in continental areas, will be locally limited.
Winds will blow from south directions 4 to 5 and temporarily on the seas locally 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly in the south. It will reach 18 to 19 degrees in the north and locally 20 degrees, in the rest of the regions 20 to 22 and locally in the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese 23 to 24 degrees Celsius.
Macedonia, Thrace
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with local rains. Sporadic storms will occur from noon mainly in central and eastern Macedonia and in the evening hours in Thrace. The phenomena in central Macedonia in the evening hours will stop.
Winds: From southerly directions 4 to 5, in sea-coast local 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 19 and locally 20 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 4 to 5 degrees lower.
Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese
Weather: Cloudy with local rain and sporadic storms. The effects until the afternoon, in the Ionian Islands, Epirus, western Sterea and northwestern Peloponnese will be strong in places.
Winds: From south directions 4 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 21 degrees Celsius. In the northern continental areas 3 to 4 degrees lower.
Thessaly, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with local rains.
