Downward trends recorded prices of shares in Athens Stock Exchange At the last meeting of the week, amid a negative climate in European markets. At the heart of the liquidity, bank shares were found.
Specifically, the General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange closed at 1,735.68 points, down 0.60%. The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 198.54 million, with 36,752,435 shares.
On a weekly basis, the basic stock market rose 2.27%, from early March is 7.95%, while 18.10%earnings profits since the beginning of the year.
The high capitalization index fell 0.79%, while the middle capitalization index fell 0.36%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Lamda Development (+1,935), Hellktor (+1.85%), Coca Cola HBC (+1.69%) Viohalco (+1.48%) and PPA (+1.29%) were the largest.
On the other hand, Eurobank (-3.35%), Ethniki (-2.39%), Piraeus (-2.21%), OTE (-1.74%) and Titan (-1.59%) declined the biggest decline.
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus, with 10,237,143 and 8,518,721 shares, respectively. Piraeus scored the highest value of transactions with € 46,197 million and Alpha Bank 23.95 million euros.
47 shares were up, 61 and 19 remained stable. The shares rose the most: Daios (+9.89%) and Xyletia (Π) (+5.56%). The biggest decline was recorded: Bioter (-6.09%) and Frigoglass (-4.35%).
