It stands out Samos in the Daily Express’ new feature on the special tourist destinations in Europe that British travelers will have the opportunity to explore next season as part of the new program of the British Tour Operator JET2.
It is in second place in the list of the popular British newspaper the island of pythagoras, Samos. According to the Daily Express “Samos is widely known for its beautiful beaches, rich history and unpretentious charm. Thanks to the new flights, travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy dreamy tours and walks by the sea, to try the excellent local cuisine and to be introduced to a more relaxed pace of life.”
The list of ‘new unlikely destinations’ completed with Tallinn, Estonia, Canary Islands, Sicily, Spain’s Jerez de la Frontera and Croatian Istria.
It is noted that the delegations of the Eastern and Western Samos Municipalities had previously had systematic contacts with representatives of leading tourism factors such as JET2 with the aim of informing them about the range of possibilities of the destination and the opening to new markets such as the British.
At the upcoming international tourism exhibition WTM2025 in London, the Municipalities of Western and Eastern Samos will participate with a single stand exclusively for the destination to hold business meetings and inform the exhibition public in view of the new connections with Great Britain.
