Ferrari responds to Trump duties with plans to raise prices in the US

OR Ferrari Plans to raise prices for some of her cars in the US by up to 10% to deal with young people duties US President Donald Trump’s cars.

The US is the company’s largest market and represent about a quarter of its total missions. Ferrari manufactures all its vehicles in Maranello, northern Italy.

In its announcement, Ferrari pointed to a possible risk of reducing EBIT and EBITDA margins by 50 basis points. It was committed to fully absorbing the cost of invoices for Ferrari 296, SF90 and ROMA models and partly for the rest, increasing prices by up to 10%.

Since Ferrari’s prices start at about $ 250,000 and reach over $ 3.5 million for limited supercars such as the F80, this move could increase the cost of a tens of thousands of dollars in the US. Brand sales in the country increased by 6% last year to 3,452 cars.
