A tragic incident happened in Kenyasince a small airplane with 12 passengers crashed today Tuesday (29/10/2025), as announced by the country’s Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), without, of course, giving details of casualties.
The plane was flying from the coastal town of Diani to a resort in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Park when it crashed around 5:30am. (local time, 7:30 Greek time), with the condition of the 12 people unknown.
“The plane was carrying 12 people,” KCAA said in a statement to X, without providing further details. Government services have gone to the scene to ascertain the causes of the crash, according to the announcement.

The plane crashed minutes after takeoff and burst into flames, leaving debris behind, authorities said.
A Cessna aircraft operated by Mombasa Air Safari crashed shortly after takeoff from Diani Airport in Kwale County, Kenya, while en route to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip. Witnesses told the AP they heard a loud bang and when they arrived at the crash site they found human remains that could not be identified.
The passengers were “all tourists” and their nationalities will be confirmed later.
