“But they did not respect my family (my 12-year-old daughter was also there), nor the children of the families who gathered in the restaurant, without even being in our company. Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go until we eradicate far-left violence.”
Condemnation by the government
The attack was also condemned by the government representative and deputy minister Prime Minister, Pavlos Marinakis, who emphasized: “At every opportunity, the “known-unknown” confirm why they represent the worst form of fascism.” Mr. Marinakis also pointed out that the perpetrators did not respect the minister’s family and added: “They don’t scare us, but, on the contrary, they make us stronger.”
