OR AEK continued their excellent run in this year’s GBL and comfortably went through with the double away from home Hercules for the 4th matchday of the Greek basketball championship, winning with an impressive 82-61.
Taking the lead from the start of the match, AEK found themselves with a double-digit difference in the score at half-time and continued at the same pace until the end to reach a +21 victory at the home of “fighting” Iraklis in the GBL.
Lukas Lekavicius with 16 points was the top scorer for Dragan Sakota’s team, while Frank Bartley with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals made the most “full” performance” for the Union. Ware with 15 points and Foreman and Foster “fought” as much as they could for the Thessalonians.
