SYRIZA: The army’s involvement in the monument of the unknown soldier is unacceptable

‘Unacceptable’ characterizes the SYRIZA In his announcement the army’s involvement in his monument Unknown after Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ announcement on Sunday morning.

According to SYRIZA, “the monument of the unknown soldier belongs to the people, to the anonymous fighters of the wars, but of the militants for democracy, equity and justice” and “the announced legislation constitutes a straight shot in democracy.”

SYRIZA’s announcement of the unknown soldier’s monument

Today’s Sunday Message and Mr Mitsotakis’ reference, that in the future no Panos Routsi can claim his right to the square which bears its name from the uprising of the Greeks and the conquest of our Constitution, is a monument of cynicism – authoritarianism. His reference is inhumane and brutal.

The most worrying thing is that there is no man in his staff to protect him from such posts that every father would be ashamed to do. Instead of doing self -criticism of his silence and apologizing to the tragic father who had to strike a 23 -day hunger strike for the self -evident, he demonstrates far -right rhetoric.

Shame on it! The army’s involvement above Syntagma Square and under the House of Greeks is unacceptable. The monument of the unknown soldier belongs to the people, to the anonymous fighters of the wars, but of the militants for democracy, equality and justice. The announced legislation constitutes a direct shot in democracy by a government that has lost every popular basis, any legalization.

How low can a prime minister who desperately tries to do damage control.

How fearful of society and peaceful protest by Mr Mitsotakis.

Here’s how dangerous this regime right is.

That’s why he has to leave as soon as possible.

We don’t want to comment on anything other than this Sunday message.
