Gaza’s malnutrition alarm by NGOs “Doctors of the World” and “Action Against Hunger”

In a study on Thursday (8/10/25) publicity, the “doctors of the world” complain, for their part, “the systematic obstacles that are implemented”, according to the NGO, “by the Israeli government to access women and girls to care for sexual health and sexual health”.

The NGO says a “low quality” sanitary napkins costs at least $ 15.

“Some women tell us that they should use pieces of used fabrics as protection, for example,” writes “Doctors of the World”.

“Of the 22,747 tests for sexual and reproductive health performed at the Gaza’s Health Centers in Gaza”, between May 2024 and August 2025, “36% involved genital infections associated with water and hygiene lack and high costs.”

The NGO also states that its groups find a “malnutrition” that is increasingly affecting pregnant women and 85% among them “are in danger of suffering complications during pregnancy”.

“Some women lose their baby because of the injuries caused by the massacres,” says Dr. Israa Saleh.

“Others give birth in suffocating shelters, without anesthesia, without drugs, sometimes forced to cut their own umbilical cords under fire,” said Gaza doctor and sexual and reproductive health advisor to the doctors of the world.
