The power to dismiss dronesunder certain conditions, will soon be acquired by the Police in Germany. Recent incidents with unmanned aircraft that caused chaos at Munich and Hamburg airports.
Utilizing new, state -of -the -art technical means, from now on, the federal police in Germany “will be able to take measures to defense against the drones”, as the cabinet decided on Wednesday (08.10.2025).
In this context, the police will be able to “Use natural means and control their interception and rejection”earlier on Wednesday, the Federal Minister of the Interior, Alexander Dobrid.
He even clarified that in an effort to tackle unmanned aircraft would use state -of -the -art technical means, such as electromagnetic pulses and GPS interference, which would interrupt the drone’s connection to his operator.
