Ukraine: Over 1 million Russian soldiers have been killed, injured and ignored by the start of the war

On average, Russia lost 35,000 soldiers and 7,700 equipment units each month.

“Every day, the Russian army loses an average of a battalion to the dead and missing – 496 people,” the report said, adding that seven whole brigades are essentially exterminated each month.

According to Ukrainians, the 2nd Army, under the command of Ramil Ibatulin, lost 15,310 soldiers and had 16,260 injured. The 51st Army, under Sergei Miltsakov, had 13,000 dead and 14.201 wounded, with huge losses in equipment reaching 1,642 units.

Select airborne units (VDVs) also suffered severe blows: 2,272 dead or missing and 3,191 injured. Russia has not released data on losses since March 25, 2022.

“The Kremlin continues to hide the real cost of war from its citizens,” the program “I want to live.”

“But sooner or later, the Russian people will have to deal with the truth – that more than a million soldiers have been killed, injured or ignored by February 2022. This is the price of Putin’s rule and their support by the Russian people.”
