Family differences seem to hide behind the assassination attack the mayor of the city of Herdeke, near the western city of Dortmund in GermanyTuesday (07.10.2025). The 57 -year -old remains in critical condition in the hospital.
Doctors who care for her reported that she has already undergone surgery and the following hours are considered critical. Mayor, Iris Stalcher, was found in a pool of blood at her home having received at least 13 knives and stomach and back. Or the perpetrators had a clear purpose to kill her. Basic suspects of murder attack remain her two children and mostly her 17 -year -old daughter. Their German authorities already have capture.

Local media reports that the mayor gave a deposition to the police but did not reveal the name of the man who attacked her. Then she lost consciousness.

Suspicious for the attack the mayor’s children
Her 15 -year -old son was the one who informed the authorities about what happened in their home. According to him, the perpetrators of the murder attack were many.
