The political crisis in France rages and everything shows that the Emmanuel Macron is more isolated than ever. His former allies seem to be turning his back on him, while the people are thinking strongly about the dismantling of the National Assembly and the early presidential elections.
Although the Sebastian Lekorni resigned from the position of Prime Minister of FranceEmmanuel Macron asked him to continue “the ultimate consultations” to set up a government coalition.
At the same time, Eduardo Philippe, who served the country as prime minister from 2017 to 2020, called on the French president to declare early presidential elections after the budget was adopted.
Citing the “weakening of the state” which he believes that he can no longer manage, the president’s alleged ally stated: “We will not live what we have been living for for six months for another 18 months, it is very much.”
Another French former prime minister, Gabriel Atal, went to the attack, taking distances from the leader of the French state. “I don’t understand his decisions.”
As far as his political opponents are concerned, they continue to denounce the unprecedented political crisis that the country has led to under the supervision of Emmanuel Macron, culminating in Sebastian Lecorni’s resignation 14 hours after his appointment.
Center -right alliance
The soil is the least slippery, for Sebastian Lekorni.
Interior Minister Bryno Retagio, who triggered the crisis by threatening to leave the government, protesting the appointment of former Finance Minister Bryno Le Mer, today mitigated his position and proposed his party, “the Republicans” within the presidential camp.
But at the same time refused to attend a meeting at Malaine Mansion of the Center -Right Alliance formed after the dissolution of the French National Assembly in 2024.
The new consultations, if they eventually reach a compromise, will not necessarily mean that Sebastian Lekorni will remain prime minister, as it became known by the environment of Emmanuel Macron.
In the event of failure, the President will assume his responsibilities, according to the same source that leaves the threat of a new dismantling of the National Assembly which is divided into three blocks: left, center-right and far right.
The ‘crushed’ left
The pressure to restore the center -right alliance is increasing due to the threat of a censure of the left and the national alarm.
“It could succeed,” a government adviser said last night, “if it distracts the suspension of retirement reform,” as the Socialists demand.
The head of the Socialist Party Olivier Fortos demanded “change of rot” with the entry of a “left government” into Matinion.
Cohabitation is supported by and the Head of Ecologists, Marin Todelierwho wants to prepare for all scenarios. He proposed to “all” the Left factions to meet this morning. The Socialist Party announced last night that it would not participate if the France party is present.
His party Jean-Lyk Melansonseeking a “clear, honest and complete” solution, does not deviate from the line and will continue to call for the resignation of Emmanuel Macron.
As for the far -right national alarm, it draws two strong paths: the dismantling of the National Assembly, “inevitable”, and the resignation of Emmanuel Macron. “It’s wise,” says Marin Le Pen.
The French far -right and their allies intend to systematically submit motion of censure to each government until dissolution or resignation.
