A new measure comes from next November to more than 1.4 million beneficiaries and will include financial support of 250 euros. The list will belong to pensioners over 65 years of age, people with disabilities (Disabled) and uninsured elders who meet specific income criteria.
The measure aims to support pensioners and people with disabilities, with the payment of the aid until November 30 of each year, with the budgetary cost estimated at EUR 360 million a year.
The annual financial support:
- It is tax -free, unexpressible and irrelevant in the hands of the State or third parties, by way of derogation from any opposite provision, it is not bound and is not offset by confirmation of debts to the tax administration and the public in general, legal entities of public law, local authorities and local authorities
- It is not subject to any fee, levy or other detention in favor of the State or E-EFKA. Persons falling into more categories receive the annual financial support for one of these categories.
Beneficiaries of the allowance of 250 euros
- Pensioners over 65 years of age with income of up to 14,000 € (unmarried/widows) or up to € 26,000 (married).
- Disability pensioners regardless of age.
- Uninsured elders receiving OPECA pension.
- People with 100% disability or those who receive welfare disability benefits.
- Foster parents integrated into disability programs.
Who are excluded
- Pensioners under 65 (unless it is a disability).
- Those who have received early pension.
- Working pensioners.
- Those who have a high personal difference.
- Beneficiaries receiving other benefits such as KEA or child allowance.
- Pensioners with real estate exceeding 200,000 euros for unmarried or 300,000 euros for married
Income and asset criteria
- The value of real estate may not exceed EUR 200,000 for unmarried and EUR 300,000 for married or part -time cohabitation. The beneficiaries of disability pensions does not apply to the age limit, but income and property criteria apply.
- The amount of the allowance of 250 euros is doubled for pairs of pensioners who qualify, reaching 500 euros. The same applies to pairs receiving an uninsured elderly or disability benefits OPECA.
