Diplomatic efforts to end the war in Gauze are intensified. Egypt will host its delegations on Monday (06.10.2025) Israel and Hamas, while the US special envoys have arrived in Cairo.
The conversations in Cairo are intended to finalize the technical details of a ceasefire and hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, as well as in the implementation of the 20 -point peace plan presented by the United States.
US has sent two special envoys to Egypt: Jared Cousnergroom of President Donald Trump, and Steve Whitkovhis personal envoy. Trump said on Saturday that he was “very close to agreement” and wants to “finalize” the truce in the coming days, according to The Guardian.
Conversations will focus on Liberation of Israeli hostages, in release of Palestinian prisoners, as well as the conditions of a continuous truce in Gaza. High -level delegations for critical conversations
