By 15.12.2025 it will be published by the ELSTAT The Annual Adjustment Index (ECN) for long -term increases premium health.
The ELSTAT index will reflect the average annual change in hospital expenditure paid by insurance companies and will be used, completely or in part, as a reference point for the adjustment of health insurance premiums.
The relevant JMD has been published in the Government Gazette and is already in force. It is foreseen that the ECN will be based on anonymous data from all insurance insurances in Greece, covering both the old long -term individual contracts and the annual renewables. The calculation includes compensation for hospitalization, medical fees, interventions, exams and medicines. It is not clarified whether the index is binding, but the Ministry of Development estimates that the wider database will contain annual increases.
