Now, regular appointments and outpatient public hospital clinics will be closed quickly, simply and with transparency so that patients do not wait for hours finding a doctor and eventually falling on automatic phoners who may not serve them in the end. Citizens will now have 3 options to plan their electronic appointments.

- Via free telephone line 1566
The application of electronic appointments had been piloted by the CAT Hospital and is now expanding to all hospitals.
The new system will permanently replace the line «1535» and the individual telephone lines of hospitals, which often caused complaints about long delays.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, today they are planned 700,000 appointments per month through the platformwhile with the integration of today and hospitals, more will be added 600,000 appointmentsreaching 1.3 million per month appointments, ie 7 million more appointments a year, which are added to the 3 million appointments available to date with the existing system.

The system becomes much easier to use and the waiting times have already declined. “
The large reform is also accompanied by mandatory operation rules: NHS hospitals specialty doctors should have at least 12 appointments a week, with all available appointments being posted exclusively on the HIDPA platform since October 2025.
Increase in appointments and better service to citizens, according to the Ministry of Health, will also be covered by doctors’ vacancies, even in barren areas, with new recruitment announced for the health sector.
NHS evaluation by citizens shows ‘satisfaction’
