Earthquake size 6.9 Richter shocked the central part of Philippine On Tuesday at 21.59 (local time), causing the deaths of at least five people, as confirmed on Tuesday night (30.09.2025) by the city of the city San Remizio. The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed.
The earthquake hit an area north of the island of Sebou, causing a commercial building and a school in the city of Badagian. Damages were also reported on local roads, and power outages were reported.
Impressive videos on social networks show drivers of motor and cars on a bridge shaking like a game from the earthquake. Other images record people hugging the streets at the time of vibration.

The epicenter of the earthquake was found about 11 kilometers from the city of Kalape, in the province of Bochol with a population of about 33,000.
Seismologists had warned of a possible “slight rise in sea level” and called on the inhabitants of the Late islands, Sebo and Biliran to move away from the coast. However, the Pacific Tsunami warning center quickly confirmed that there was no tsunami risk.
