The motive for the perpetrator, according to police, was unclear so far, was 40 -year -old Thomas Jacob Sanford. The armed person drove his car to the entrance of a Mormon church located in the Grand Blanc area, and began shooting indiscriminately with a rifle on the raid, before the building is set on fire.

People in the church fell and protected children during the shots and then transported them to a safe place.
Who was the perpetrator
The suspect for the shots served in the army from June 2004 to June 2008, according to the Marine Corps.
He was a car engineer at the operational level and a vehicle collector and reached the rank of sergeant, a body spokesman said. Sanford had been developed in Iraqi Freedom from August 2007 to March 2008.
He won many awards, such as the Marine Corps’ medal, the maritime service ribbon, the Iraqi campaign medal, the World War II medal against terrorism and the National Defense Service Medal, the spokesman said.
His latest mission was in the 2nd maintenance battalion of the 25th Care Constitution at the North Carolina Marine Base Camp, according to the spokesman.
“It seems that this is another targeted attack on Christians in the US,” President Trump said in a post on the Truth Social platform. “This epidemic of violence in our country has to stop immediately,” he said, less than three weeks after the assassination of super -conservative activist Charlie Kerk at a Utah University.
According to information from the local Police Department, ten people were taken to a hospital, two of whom were in their wounds. Later, during an investigation into the church destroyed by the fire, two corpses were found.
