Nightmarish moments experienced an elderly in the Ghoulwhen he fell victim beating by her son.
The incident happened at noon last Wednesday (24.9.25) when the 80 -year -old woman, who lives in Lamia, was beaten by her 38 -year -old son.
According to a report by LamiaReport, the man hit her on the head many times and pushed her to lose her balance and falling her head on the door of the room and bleed.
Reports say the reason the woman was attacked was according to the 38 -year -old who tried to justify his act was that his mother tried to hit his dog, while on the contrary she had given him water and food.
The woman was in the hospital’s emergency, with staff informing the police.
The perpetrator was arrested by Immediate Action Police on the same day and, by order of the prosecutor, was transferred for a psychiatric examination to Lamia General Hospital.
He was not considered to need unintentional hospitalization and therefore returned to the department and the autopsy proceeded.
