WSJ: Trump said ‘yes’ to Zelenski for long -range weapons

THE Donald Trump, has made a 180 -degree turn on the issue of war in Ukraineafter his disappointment as he has stated many times by the attitude of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

US President Donald Trump seems to be changing a stance on Ukraine and leaves open the possibility of granting Volodimir Zelensky long -range weapons.

Donald Trump told Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski, who had earlier asked US president, the devastating tomahawk rocketsthat it does not exclude that Ukraine is allowed to use long -range US weapons for attacks in Russia. However, at their meeting on Tuesday, he did not pledge to change this policy immediately, according to the Wall Street Journal.

During their conversation on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Zelenski called for more large -scale missiles and permission to use them in Russian goals. Trump replied that he was not opposed, but did not give a clear promise.

If Trump’s attitude leads to a policy change, Ukraine will be able to hurt targets deeper in Russia. Until now, Washington does not allow such attacks with weapons it has given to Kiev, such as Atacms rockets, which Ukraine considers to prevent it from responding to Russian attacks.
