With a slight retreat, the prices of shares today (26.9.2025) at the last meeting of his week Stock market Athens.
The market managed to keep the profits of the week, even marginally, as several high -capitalization titles were recruited. The General Price Index on the Greek Stock Exchange closed at 2,031.81 points, down 0.17%. Intra-conference recorded a higher price at 2,037.77 points (+0.13%) and a lower price at 2,021.39 points (-0.68%)
On a weekly basis, the basic stock market index recorded a marginal increase of 0.07%, while from the beginning of the year it has made a profit of 38.25%. The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 220.74 million, with 34,876,846 shares. The high capitalization index fell 0.11%, while the middle capitalization index fell 0.20%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Aktor (+3.05%), Viohalco (+2.34%), Piraeus (+1.96%) and Sarantis (+1.57%) were the largest. On the contrary, the biggest decline was the shares of Jumbo (-2.81%), EYDAP (-2.48%), Metlen (-2.20%) and PPA (-1.52%).
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 9,327,668 and 7,962,839 shares, respectively. Alpha Bank with 33.18 million euros and National with EUR 26.90 million was the highest value of transactions.
48 shares were up, 58 and 20 remained stable.
The shares rose the most: Haidmeni (+6.73%) and Elyda (+3.37%). The biggest decline was recorded: Elton chemicals (-7.66%) and Fais Group (-5.36%).
