‘Defense must be a priority for the EU’
Referring to European developments, Mr Mitsotakis pointed out that governments must make difficult decisions to put their finances in order. “When they do this, they can develop the economy, reduce taxes and boost incomes,” he said, adding that Greece has reached this point through “painful reforms”.
In addition, it has highlighted the need for a strong common European defense strategy. “Defense must be a priority for the EU,” he said.
Political stability in Europe and tourism in Greece
The prime minister also referred to developments in France, expressing the hope of stabilizing the political situation. “It is very important that Europe’s core, France and Germany, to do well,” he noted.

Later, the Prime Minister will meet with UN Secretary -General, Antonio Guterresand then he will address the 80th Summit of the UN General Assembly.
