Meeting of acquaintance with the appointed new Ambassador of the United States in Athens Kimberly Gilfail had the prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Kimberly Gilfail will be sworn in on Monday and is expected to arrive in Athens at the end of October.
The Mitsotakis -Gilfail meeting took place on the sidelines of an event in New York in which the prime minister talked about the important role Greece could play as a bridge, political, commercial and energy, between India, Gulf countries and Europe. The meeting was organized by the Atlantic Council and Antenna Group on the deepening of EU cooperation with the Gulf Cooperation Council Member States in the context of the European and the Middle East, AEGGIS (Alliance for Europe-Gulf Geopolitics & GEOP Investments Summit).
