The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakishad a meeting with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew At the headquarters of the Archdiocese of America, in Manhattan, in the presence of Archbishop of America, Mr. Elpidoforos.
On his arrival at the Archdiocese, Mr. Mitsotakis was welcomed, inter alia, by the Metropolitan of Laodicea Mr. Theodoritos, who was also a professor of the Prime Minister, Metropolitan of Silvria Mr. Maximos, as well as the Director of the Patriarch.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Ecumenical Patriarch for his award by the John Templeton Foundation.
During the meeting, issues of the Ecumenical Patriarchate were discussed, while Kyriakos Mitsotakis was informed of Mr Bartholomew’s visit to the United States.
