Mr. Kasselakis said:
“We live a paranoia. The parent, Mr. Panos Routsi, calls for the identification of his child’s relics and the necessary toxicological examinations. And yet, he is not allowed. It’s not just a matter of identification, it’s a matter of truth and justice. The parent has every right to know what his child died. If the “established” justice attempts to limit the truth, then people have to speak loudly. It is now with the mockery. “
Referring to the Minister of Justice, the President of the Movement of democracy stressed:
“Mr. Floridis lies. This is his role: to put justice on behalf of the Prime Minister who has appointed him. How many times has he indicated to justice what should he do? A lot. He should have resigned for a long time. “
And added:
“But the truth is he will not give up. Neither he, nor the government. The deeper they are immersed in their illegality, the more they are hooked behind the protection provided by article 86. This is not justice, it is a concealment. And that’s why society has to speak loudly. “
Completing his intervention, Mr. Kasselakis noted:
“We don’t need the perpetrator’s DNA. Their DNA is in the House of Greeks, protected by constitutional provisions that enhance the concept of democracy. What Greek society needs is redemption, which can only come with the restoration of real justice. “
