Donald Trump is pushing US justice ministry to turn against his political opponents

With a series of posts on Truth Social, the Donald Trump He called on Saturday (20.09.2025) the Minister of Justice Pam Bodi to act immediately and initiate proceedings against his political opponents, two of whom are accused of fraud in fraud in USA.

“Justice must be attributed now,” Donald Trump said, accusing California Sen. Adam Sif and New York City Prosecutor Lefsia James for fraud through forgery documents linked to real estate loans.

Trump also denounced the inaction of federal prosecutor Eric Simbert, who had refused to prosecute James for lack of evidence. Sibert resigned on Friday after Trump’s demand for his removal. The president immediately announced his replacement with Lindsay Haligan, a White House adviser, who – according to Trump – will be a “tough prosecutor” on Bodi’s side.

Letisia James is one of Trump’s main opponents: he had secured his 500 million-dollar record, which was later canceled by New York’s justice.

Adam Sif, for his part, had led the first deployment process against Trump in 2019, and participated in the second in 2021. In both cases, the president had been acquitted.

“They targeted me twice with a dismissal process, accused me five times for anything,” Trump wrote, turning his anger into a new call for a court counterattack against his opponents.
