Risk without benefit – according to the latest market data – consumers who remain in the floating invoices power As in the majority of cases the constant (blue) are cheaper and also protect those who choose them from the risk of ratings.
According to data from the Waste, Energy and Water Regulatory Authority, green electricity invoices in September range above 10 cents per kilowatt hour (with the exception of Elini invoice at 0.08979 cents) and escalate up to 0.16 cents.
In this context, and as the majority of consumer -changing provider or contract choose fixed charges, competition between providers is geared to products in this category.
Correspondingly in blue (fixed) there are 13 offers below 10 cents and escalated to 17 cents.
The picture does not change with the Yellow invoices of September (what has been announced so far, as their prices are set by the ex -post) as with the exception of Heron invoices that decreased by 53 % to 7.5 cents per kilowatt hour, and the PPC night (also 7.5 cents).
September’s positive image with reductions in most invoices does not appear to be repeated in October as the wholesale prices of electricity have so far been rising, close to 100 euros per megawatt in August 73.
It is noted that PPC announced a new fixed product last week, the PPC Myhome Plan at 60 euros each month (including supply charges and adjustable charges) which according to the company is suitable for a range of 2,500-4,500 kWh per year. According to the specifications announced, the energy consumed twice a year, in the 6th and 12th month of the contract will be cleared. In the monthly accounts issued there will be a monthly 60euro bill. The clearing account will be credited to all the monthly charges made and clearing the consumption of electricity in the corresponding period based on DEDDIE counts. The clearance per semester will be at a kilowatt -hour price of 14.5 cents. The product is accompanied by offers and discounts from affiliate businesses and will soon be commercially available.
Earlier, Protergia announced Picasso with a fixed amount of billing per month and different programs, depending on the kilowatts they consume annually and at a monthly charge of € 29.99 per month (also including both energy and adjustable charges).
