Two other people succumbed to their wounds, raising the number of dead to 21, as Mayor Clara Brugada announced.
Twenty -seven wounded are still hospitalized, while 36 others returned to their homes, the mayor added.
The Istapalapa district of the Mexican capital was shocked on September 10 by the tanker explosion carrying nearly 50,000 liters of LPG on a busy road.

According to the prosecution’s investigation, the tragedy is probably due to the excessive speed developed by the tanker driver, resulting in the vehicle overthrowing and causing the strong explosion.
