BoG: increased to 79 billion euros in red loans managed by Servicers

Increase by EUR 1.6 billion, in the second quarter of 2025, their nominal value of loan of the private internal sector, managed by domestic loan and credits management companies (ECDs) and have been transferred to specialized financial institutions abroad, according to data from the Bank of Greece (BCT).

Specifically, the BoG figures show that the total value of loans in this category increased to € 79.7 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2025, compared to € 78 billion in the previous quarter.

More specifically, the nominal value of business loan management increased to € 27, € 9 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2025, from € 27.6 billion at the end of the previous quarter. The nominal value of loans to non -financial enterprises (MSE) increased by EUR 330 million and stood at € 27.9 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2025. From management to the MSE, € 10.4 billion relates to loans to small and medium -sized enterprises (SMEs).

The nominal value of loans to other financial institutions remained unchanged at 31m euros at the end of the second quarter of 2025.

The nominal value of loans to freelancers, farmers and individual businesses increased by € 161 million over the previous quarter and stood at € 9.7 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2025.

The nominal value of loans to private and private non -profit institutions increased by € 1.1 billion over the previous quarter and stood at € 41.9 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2025.

More specifically, consumer loans increased by € 250 million and stood at € 16.2 billion. Managed mortgages increased by EUR 844 million and stood at € 25.3 billion.
