Comes ‘112’ from the tax office – will alert debtors to their overdue debts

At the heart of the “campaign” of increasing public revenue is being put by the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) the receipts of overdue debt.

This year, AADE is expected to develop the new recovery strategy, 2025-2029, with its implementation next year, paying particular attention to increased revenue from arrears through their more direct and effective management.

What does the new collection strategy mean? Means that AADE will gather all the data on each taxpayer’s profile while will constantly update debtors about their debtsand will take measures where non -compliance is observed.

These measures, in fact, will vary according to the profits and age of the debt, which means, for example, that another treatment will have a debt that is overdue for 1 year and another debt that has “blushed” for a triple period.

Through this process of “folder” of all the elements, there will be a categorization of debtors and on this basis of debt management actions will be specialized, with AADE following the PARE (Payment Capacity-Attitude-Reaction-Event) methodology.

Prognostic models will be developed to prevent abusive behaviors and the debt portfolio will also be cleared.

What are the quantitative goals for 2025

However, AADE’s collection goals for 2025, before the new strategy entered, are particularly ambitious and high.

Among other things, AADE aims to collect more than 3 billion euros against older taxpayers’ debts.

It also targets the big debtors as with targeted actions of the Operational Collection (WE), it aspires to collect at least 700m euros.

The target of collection against total overdue debts to customs is at 28m euros.

Enters class in the portfolio of debt

At the same time, AADE intends to distinguish Hira from the wheat in terms of the total debts of the taxpayers.

The 33% of new arrears for the new arrears is set at 33%, while the € 10 billion is expected to be described as unacceptable collection, whether debts to the tax office or customs authorities.

In addition, a priority will be made of the most recovered taxpayers in order to take forced collection measures where appropriate, through the application of a centralized system for the selection of overdue debt cases, using risk analysis criteria.

The out -of -court mechanism is also indirectly put indirectly as the target for processing applications by EMIS is placed at least 90%, while debtors of overdue debts will be re -evaluated on a periodic basis, while at least 5% of the top 5% of the debtors are reported.

Finally, the integration of Customs Services into the electronic seizure through the EISPRAXIS system is to be integrated for the unification of state mechanisms.
