Pulse poll: How citizens judge the measures announced by the prime minister at the TIF – “Well, but we want more” – what do young people say

Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ announcements at this year’s TIF have been at the center of political debate and have been the subject of measuring by the Pulse on behalf of SKAI. Concerning the evaluation of the measures announced by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the TIF, citizens appear shared.

37% recognizes the positive basis of the measures, but express the view that they do not fully respond to the needs of society. This category of citizens does not reject, nor is it convinced – it works as barometerwhich can determine the developments according to the continuation of government policy.

: There is majority of negative views (45%), while approximately 4 in 10 consider measures positive but inadequate. Only 7% declare complete satisfaction. The percentage of non -information (11%) is relatively high, which shows either indifference or communication gap.

Per age group

Young people reject, the older ones accept

The poll highlights an intense age gap. Younger citizens, age 17–29 years oldappear particularly negative: 44% consider measures incorrect while just 3% declare excited. The new generation, experiencing precision, inability to access the roof and precarious labor, shows that it feels excluded from government priorities.

In contrast, at older ages (45–59 and mainly 60+), the climate is clearly more positive. Citizens over 60 years of age, with a percentage 54% positive attitudethey estimate that the measures are moving on a proper orbit, seeing at the TIF a message of stability and continuity. This gap highlights the different social priorities: security and confidence for the older, perspective and opportunities for younger ones.

• 17–29 years old: 44% negative attitude, just 3% excited – intense skepticism.

• 30–44 years old: Even more negative, 56% consider measures incorrect.

• 45–59 years of age: More balanced image (43% positive, 42% negative).

• 60+ years old: More positive attitude, 54% positive, 39% negative.

Younger ages (17–44) show almost a majority rejection. Older ages (45+) show greater understanding or acceptance. The generational divide is clear.

Per zones of interest

• ‘Gray zone’ (undecided/white/invalid): 46% negative, only 3% excited.

• Differential NDs (voted ND in 2023 but do not answer now): 42% negative, 49% positive (mainly “need more”).

• Fixed ND (voted ND and declaring it again): 96% positive (24% fully satisfied, 72% with reservations), just 2% negative.

Conclusion:

• To undecided The picture is negative.

• To southwest there is divisionwith a relative majority seeing the measures positive but not sufficient.

• To steady ND there is almost universal acceptance.

General analysis:
The query shows three key points:

1. Society is polarized: 44% in the right direction, 45% wrong direction.

2. The age gap is intense: Young people reject, the older ones accept.

3. The ND’s electoral base remains united, but the undecided and the distress express serious reservations.
