Downward trends prevailed in shares In today’s meeting Athens Shipownerwith the market moving on a downward track for a third consecutive meeting.
The high capitalization index of the Athens Stock Exchange stood out the shares of Optima and Metlen, while the titles of Aegean, Alpha Bank and National were pressured.
The General Price Index closed at 2,019.26 points, down 0.69%. Intra-conference recorded lower price at 2,009.36 points (-1.17%) and higher at 2,036.52 points (+0.16%).
The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 265.39 million, of which EUR 65 million was related to packages, with 50,016,979 shares.
The high capitalization index fell 0.71%, while the middle capitalization index fell 0.48%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Optima Bank (+1.56%) and Metlen (+0.60%) were the largest rise.
On the other hand, Aegean Airlines (-2.84%), Alpha Bank (-1.66%), Ethniki (-1.41%), Cyprus (-1.32%) and PPC (-1.27%) fell the biggest decline.
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus with 18,224,782 and 8,603,566 shares, respectively.
Alpha Bank with 61.44 million euros and Piraeus with € 59.33 million was the highest transaction value.
24 shares were on the rise, 85 declining and 17 remained stable.
The shares rose the most: Levnderis (P) (+7.14%) and Moda Bango (+5.84%).
The biggest decline was recorded by the shares: Credia Bank (-8.11%) and Haidmeni (-3.77%).
