Earlier today, however, under the coordination of the Single Research and Rescue Coordination Center (EKSED), a company was located and rescued by 40 foreigners in a boat, in the maritime area 25 nautical miles south of Gavdos. According to the Coast Guard, the occupants were collected by an additional ship with a Singapore flag, which responded to the danger signal. Subsequently, the Port Authority was organized their safe transport to the port of Sfakia.
