The stock prices were closed with a slight retreat (15.9.2025) meeting of the Athens Stock Exchange.
The market fell after three upward meetings, during which the basic stock index had recorded 2.39%. The General Price Index closed at 2,057.56 points, down 0.25%.
Intra-conference recorded a higher price at 2,068.60 points (+0.28%) and a lower price at 2,052.98 points (-0.47%). The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 166.36 million, with 30,227,206 shares. The high capitalization index fell 0.27%, while the medium capitalization index was up 0.13%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Optima Bank (+1.97%), PPA (+1.58%), Viohalco (+1.33%) and OPAP (+1.09%) were the highest. On the contrary, the biggest decline was the shares of National (-1.09%), Titan (-1.08%), Eurobank (-1.03%) and ELPE (-1.00%).
The largest volume of transactions were presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank with 7,380,737 and 5,234,275 shares, respectively. Eurobank scored the highest transaction value with € 24.15 million and National with EUR 23.87 million.
49 shares were on the rise, 50 declining and 21 remained stable.
The shares rose the most: Daios Plastic (+26.55%) and Attic editions (+14.79%). The biggest decline was recorded by Revoil (-6.32%) and ECF (-3.28%).
