Today’s General Assembly was held in the shadow of recent events that have tested the unity of the Sinai Brotherhood, but now things have calmed down, and the new abbot will continue to fight for the smooth operation of the historic monastery.
The decision of the General Assembly will now be notified to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and will be followed by the process for the ordination of the new Abbot and Archbishop Sinai.
