Former SYRIZA Minister Stavros Kontonti said in agreement with the direct referral of Christos Triantopoulos to the Judicial Council for his involvement after the Tempe tragedy.

“What is happening in the pre -trial and examination committees surpasses any imagination,” he added.
He noted, in fact, for the pre -trial committees that “not only are they not effective and reliable but once the procedure and law has changed and the regular interrogator and the Judicial Council consisting of senior judges are now involved in the case – because it is not too much. What a committee would do will make it much better by an interrogator. “
He noted that “the culmination of this tragic is that before every meeting is over, the minutes have leaked while the law prohibits it”.
