Possible earthquake 7.4 Richter “hit” – for once again – the Russiathis time on the east coast of the Kamchatka peninsula.
The earthquake in Russia, which took place on Saturday morning, 13.09.2025 (Greek time), had a focal depth of just 10 kilometers.

The US Alert Center for tsunamiissued a warning, recommending citizens to be very careful. A few hours later he announced that there was no risk.

The videos that came on social media also show the moment of the strong earthquake. The shots show buildings and electricity columns to move as if they were paper.
In July, one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded hit Kamchatka Peninsulacausing a tsunami of up to 4 meters high in the Pacific and causing evacuations from Hawaii to Japan.
The 8.8 -magnitude earthquake was the strongest since 2011. Then the vibration had reached 9.1 Richter, causing a tsunami that killed more than 15,000 people.
The July earthquake prompted the authorities in Japan to remove almost 2 million people.
Tsunami warnings were also issued throughout the area before being recalled or downgraded.
