The new interventions in transport and the Road Traffic Code, which today begins their implementation, was presented by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Konstantinos Kyranakis.

Regarding the taxi sector, the minister said they were proceeding with the upgrading of services and better passenger service. “Our goal is a modern framework that will respect both the professional and the citizen,” he said.
Concerning financial measures, Mr Kyranakis emphasized that the priority of the government is family support. As he said, tax relief and incentives are being considered for young couples to address the demographic issue. “We want to make the daily life easier for young parents, to have more resources and less weights,” he said.
