The decision to join the Regional Program «Attica 2021-27»Of the energy upgrading of 4th High School of Herakliontotal public expenditure 674,000 euros, signed by Attica Regional Governor, Nikos Chardaliasin the presence of the Mayor of Heraklion, Nikos Babalouto the Region’s administration.
The project, which is expected to be auctioned immediately and to be completed by the end of 2026is part of its holistic strategy Attica for the sustainable development of public infrastructure and to enhance the energy efficiency of school units.
In particular, in this action, extensive thermal insulation work will be carried out indoors and outdoors, upgrading the central heating and air conditioning system with the installation of heat pumps and low energy imprint units, as well as replacement of low -consumption LED luminaires.

The signing of the Integration Decision was attended by the Secretary General of the Municipality of Heraklion, Katerina Plexida, the Head of the Special Management Service of the Attica Regional Program, Dimitris Drosis, and the Director of Development Planning of the Region.
