This donation is extremely useful for the Navy. I will not hide that all three military schools needed significant investments to improve their facilities and be able to provide our young officers with the level they needed in their particularly tough training.
In a few weeks, “Kimonas” will sail in Faliric Bay, the first new generation frigate, the first Grass (FDI) and there will be three more, as well as we hope for two Italian Bergamini frigates, for which the negotiation is completed within the next few weeks.
But all this is important if there is no human resources that can staff and self -sacrifice to fulfill their purpose.
In this sense, therefore, Mr Yiannis Vardinoyannis, today’s donation is part of a continuation and constitutes a message to the naval essays that your group recognizes and honors their decision to devote their lives to the defense of their homeland, sovereignty.
