Two serious cases of drug trafficking and cultivation were solved by the police authorities in Saint Panteleimon and Aspropyrgos, by arrest Two nationals, aged 25 and 66 years respectively.
25 -year -old arrest in Agios Panteleimon
The night of September 1, 2025, DIAS Police Officers, As part of a patrol, they found a 25 -year -old man moving with a vehicle in the area of St. Panteleimon and submitted him. In his possession, 3.5 grams of raw cannabis were found, while in a hiding place on his car dashboard they were also identified 81 grams of the same substance.
A home investigation was followed by the Athens Criminal Prosecution and Criminal Division, where they were identified and confiscated:
- 4 kg and 46 grams of raw cannabis,
- 76 grams of processed hemp,
- 7 grams of cocaine,
- an electronic precision scales and
- the amount of EUR 950.
The detainee was taken to the competent prosecutor with the case file involving charges of violating drug law.
Arrest 66 -year -old in Aspropyrgos
A few days later, on the morning of September 5, 2025, police officers of the Aspropyrgos Criminal Prosecution and Crimes Department arrested a 66 -year -old native after investigating information that wanted him to cultivate cannabis at his home.
During the site research, they were identified and seized:
- 8 cannabis seedlings,
- Numerous nylon packaging, intended to distribute the quantities produced.
The 66 -year -old was also taken to the competent prosecutor with the relevant charges.
