One hundred and twenty (120) projects totaling 130m euros are currently being executed in the prefecture of Evros yesterday by Deputy Minister of Interior Vassilis Spanakis in his central speech in Alexandroupolis, completing his two -day tour of Orestiadas, Demyido. The projects, as the Deputy Minister said, are being funded by the Ministry of the Interior and relate to the municipalities of Alexandroupolis, Didymoteicho, Orestiada, Samothrakis and Soufli.
The Deputy Minister of the Interior, Vassilis Spanakis, both in his speech, in his interviews with local television and radio stations and during his visit to Border Stations in Kastanias and Evros Gardens, referred to the extensive program of upgrading and expanding infrastructure and facilities.
The second day of the Undersecretary of the Interior, Vassilis Spanakis in Evros, began with his meeting with the 29 Presidents of Municipalities in Ormenio of the Municipality of Orestiada. It should be noted that it is the first time that the Deputy Minister of State for Local Government has been organizing a wide meeting with the Presidents of the Municipal Communities in Ormenio, which is the northeast part of Greece.
