With impressive appearance and rain from three -pointers, the Latvia crushed the Czech Republic by 109-75 in the last match of his first group Eurobasket 2025, securing third place and knockout qualification with a record of 3-2.
The Latvians left no room for questioning, dominating the first minutes and showing their quality in attack. Coach’s team Luca Banki was constantly shooting from the district, completing the match with 17 apt three -pointers in 36 attempts (46%), while it was even more effective in two -pointers with 72% convenience (23/32), in its best appearance at this year’s Eurobasket.
The protagonists of the match were the Bertanz brothers, who scored 20 points each, while Christaps Porzingis added 16 points, leading Latvia safely to victory.
On the other hand, the Czech Republic continued its frustrating course in the event, completing its obligations without a victory. Kreitsi, Peterka and Senhal stood out for the Nenek team with 11 points each, but the defensive inaction and lack of motivation were obvious throughout the race.
